I started out with 2 Corinthians 11:3 "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, Do you remember in in the book Matthews it says "As in the days of Noah they were eating and drinking giving in marriage, etc. Did you know that isn't what it really says. Here it is below
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
Do you see the subtile change of what people say and what the Bible says.
The days of Noah were the 40 days during the flood, that is when a remnant of humanity was saved, (8 people). Do you see the word Before in verses 38 "Before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage. Remember how Eve was beguiled by the subtilty of the serpent. See how subtle Religion has us seeing it a little different! The key word here is before!
This small change from what you thought and what the scriptures say is really big in your understanding of what is being said here. The question now is do you under stand shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 9 out of ten people answer wrong, that I have found. So don't be so sure you have the right answer.

Before the New Testament scriptures there was only the Torah (Old Testament). So how were people saved? Take yourself back to 59 AD, (23 years after Jesus died on the cross) to the Greek city of Corinth under the Roman era. Your standing in front of a man called Paul. You know that the Jews have a God, but you know that the Greeks have a lot gods and statues. You listen to Pauls teaching, you believe what he is saying and you become saved. In fact many people that is there become saved. The majority of people that leave that day that are saved never saw a Bible or any scriptures. Never the less, they are saved. Pauls Gospel (Translated from the Greek word meaning well-message) saved alot of people back then. It was simple, it was easy to remember. The gentiles easily understood and excepted this well-message, but the Jewish people and the disciples had a hard time understanding it. It is still the same way today and because of Religion the gentiles are having a hard time of getting Pauls easy 'well-messge' right. Many people that you ask today will give a wrong answer about being saved. What you will here is that they are a Christian. The word Christian came from the Greek word Christianon meaning anointed-ian. These first group of Christians followed the anointed one, a particulir sect of people that believed in Pauls well message (the exact message). The pure message!! The saving message of salvation. However its not that way today. Religion , and I mean all Religions by denomination have added to this message and the pure meaning is being changed. You need to be in the pure well message that Paul preached 1900 years ago. Pauls well-message has never changed. but over time Religion has.
Soon I will be putting up a link to go to that will help you scripturely

2 Corinthians 1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

We have been caught in a snare and now Fallen Away from the simplicity of Christ.
